Global District is a software tool which allows for communities to create a virtual representation of themselves can be used by communities and other entities to highlight their services and attractions online.
This demonstration shall be held in the Dufferin Arms at 7pm on Tuesday 26th July.

ABOUT THE BELFAST GOES GLOBAL PROJECT:
Belfast Goes Global - is based on an architectural cityscape provided by Belfast City Council, with initial support from the Belfast Chamber of Trade and Commerce.
Kickstarted by the Belfast Chamber of Trade & Commerce in 2001
/ 2002, and with a visual "Cityscape" provided by Belfast City Council,
the project pioneered visual search and online mapping. The project has
since benefited from a number of enhancements, in part sponsored by
business in the Greater Belfast area.

and ongoing development now enables the project to provide a platform
for web site applications as well as content. The system is driven by OneKana™,
enabling members to develop, amongst other things, business to business
networks, client networks, co-promotional reward schemes, and the web
site applications to enhance them and the platform itself.
